It is so exciting to learn new things and have new experiences. Flash, Bang Science gives kids an opportunity to do both. We are always learning about a new concept in STEM and doing a really fun (sometimes messy) experiment to solidify the knowledge. Usually we do flashy experiments which illustrate a big concept in STEM. This past week we exploded watermelons using rubber bands. None of the students had done this experiment before. So they were not sure how it was going to turn out. We all had a great time! The kids loved learning a new STEM concept (pressure) and eating watermelon of course.
