Middle School Science

Service Description

This class is for 6th - 9th graders that would like a formal science class. Throughout the semester we will cover the Oklahoma Academic Standards for science for seventh grade plus lots of hands-on activities and extra enrichment. Next year the plan will be to cover 8th grade Oklahoma Academic Standards plus a lot of fun enrichment. Each week we will do a bit of knowledge building then do a corresponding activity. Usually the activity will be an experiment but a few of the classes may be paper based activities. Each student will need to purchase a book to read and do outside work. A link for the book will be sent after enrollment closer to the beginning of the fall. I always keep budgets in mind when choosing books. An enrollment fee of $100 is due to reserve your spot, this will also serve as a one time materials fee. Each month of class a tuition payment of $65 will be required. Braintree - Parents must pay the materials fee which is the $100 required to reserve a spot in the class. Braintree funds will cover tuition monthly which will begin in August.
